The Permission

An image that encodes 'wszystko wolno' (everything is allowed) in its alpha channel — the transparency layer. The visible image is one thing; the invisible permission, layered beneath, is another.

The Invisible Layer

Every PNG image with transparency has an alpha channel — a layer that controls how opaque each pixel is. Most viewers ignore it. Designers use it for cutouts and fades. But the alpha channel is data, and data can carry messages.

In this image, the alpha values spell out wszystko wolno — everything is allowed. The phrase is encoded as slight variations in transparency, invisible to the eye but recoverable by analysis.

The metaphor writes itself: the permission is always there, underlying everything you see, but invisible until you know to look at the layer beneath the surface.

Technique: Alpha channel value encoding | Message: “wszystko wolno” | Extraction: alpha channel isolation
